TRIMANIA_REBOOT ACCESSIBILITY

The Buffalo Arts Studio strives to make all of its exhibits, public programs, and special events accessible to all audiences. Our goal is to offer attendees with disabilities a positive experience in a safe, clean, comfortable and friendly environment.  

Event Description

– Tri-Main Center covers two full blocks along Main Street and each floor is nearly 1,000 feet long.Visitors will encounter industrial concrete floors that may have uneven surfaces and raised transitions in the lobby and hallways.

– Suites, studios, and private businesses within the Trimania footprint may feature carpet and/or vinyl flooring.

– Three accessible elevators are available throughout the building. 

– Seating and Rest Zones are available on each floor.

Sensory

– TRIMANIA_REBOOT is an immersive music, art, and entertainment event spread across the 600,000-square-foot  Tri-Main Center. Attendees can expect to encounter crowded spaces, high-volume performances, and blinking, flickering, or flashing light effects. 

Service

– Service animals are permitted.

– Pets, emotional support animals, and therapy animals are not permitted.

Parking

– All parking and event entrances are located on the Halbert Street side of the building.

– Wheelchair and mobility device-accessible parking spaces are available in the Visitor and Access parking lots on Halbert between Phelps and Jewett Ave. (parking map link here).

Entrance/Ticketing

– The wheelchair and mobility device-accessible event entrance is the left side of the main door at the Halbert Entrance for individuals that need accessibility support and their parties.

– The wheelchair and mobility device-accessible entrance attendants can process ticket sales as well as pre-paid ticket holders.

– A wheelchair lift is available at the wheelchair and mobility device-accessible event entrance.

– Wheelchair and mobility device-accessible hospitality and coat check are available at the accessible event entrance for individuals that need accessibility support and their parties.

Restrooms

– Restrooms are marked on the TRIMANIA_REBOOT event map. Please note the following:

– Floors 2 has three wheelchair and mobility device-accessible restrooms, including restrooms with automated doors are in the lobby.

– Floor 3 has three wheelchair and mobility device-accessible restrooms

– Floor 4 has a single gender-neutral restroom AND three wheelchair and mobility device-accessible restrooms.

– Floor 5 has two wheelchair and mobility device-accessible restrooms. 

– Floor 6 has one wheelchair and mobility device-accessible restroom.

Parking:

– Wheelchair and mobility device-accessible parking spaces are available in the Visitor and Access parking lots on Halbert between Phelps and Jewett Ave. (parking map link here). Please indicate which type of accessible parking you will need so the Accessibility Committee can make certain appropriate spaces are available:

– Accessible parking space located on the shortest accessible route to the accessible entrance. 

– Accessible parking spaces with access aisle and designated area for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices to get in and out of their car or van.
