Colleen Toledano, Concealed Gardens
July 23 – September 4, 2027
Toledano’s current work is autobiographical and explores notions of family, motherhood, and domestic relationships. Inspired by the chaotic beauty in the balance between the happenstance and organization in her household, she uses visual cues of foliage and florals within the work to depict her ever-changing growth and changing domestic roles. She takes formal inspiration from the decorative and complex aesthetics of historical Wedgwood pottery and Sèvres porcelain.
