Kathleen Sherin began to explore printmaking as a graduate student in painting at the University of Buffalo (MFA 1985) and since has evolved unique methods of creating her one-of-kind prints. Sherin uses various combinations of techniques to create her energized abstract prints. Sherin’s work is in the permanent collections at Roswell Park and Burchfield-Penney as well as many private collections. She has exhibited her prints in over 100 feature and group exhibitions throughout the United States. Her work will be seen in summer 2017 at Buffalo’s Pausa Art House. Kathy has been a resident artist at Buffalo Arts Studio since 2002.
