Betty J. Pitts Foster is a BFA and Master of Ed graduate of the University of Buffalo. Her passion is to express through impressionistic art, God’s creation. Past awards include the Chautauqua Art Association’s 13th National Juried Show, Buffalo Arts Society, Williamsville Art Society and selection by renown artists Ernest Chrichlow and Romare Bearden to exhibit at the Gallery Museum, Hall of Springs, Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Her work was selected by Buffalo-born Haitian Ambassador, James B. Foley for US State Department’s Art in Embassies program. She has exhibited in many area group shows in Buffalo, Chautauqua, and Washington DC. She is a resident artist at the Buffalo Arts Studio.
