Jump Start Biennial, “Emerge,” May 27 – June 10, 2016

This exciting exhibition features artwork in a variety of media created by students participating in the Jump Start program. Buffalo Arts Studio works with students who show astrong ability and interest in the visual arts and guides them along their college and career path. Jump Start students participate in art classes, workshops, summer camps, and professional development to produce a strong body of artwork for their college and/or professional portfolios.

The mission of the Jump Start Program at Buffalo Arts Studio is to enhance opportunities for area students by helping them along the path to college degrees through mentorship, advanced art courses, and early development of professional art practices. Over 135 youth have participated in the past ten years.
