“Archiving Western New York: Select Artists from the Gerald Mead Collection,” July 11 – September 2, 2016

BAS Curator Shirley Verrico has collaborated with curator, educator, and collector Gerald Mead to select 35 outstanding examples of artwork by WNY’s most notable artists from Mead’s impressive collection included in Archiving Western New York: Select Artists from the Gerald Mead Collection. Mead and Verrico selected artworks from the collection by art educators who are living and/or working in the Western New York area. The exhibition includes a wide variety of mediums from artists including Bruce Adams, Rita Auerbach, Kyle Butler, Millie Chen, Charles Clough, Adele Henderson, Ani Hoover, Mark Lavatelli, Joan Linder, Joseph Piccillo, Joseph Sheer, David Schirm, Jason Seeley, Kathleen Sherin, Peter Sowiski, Paul Vanouse, and Adam Weekly, among others.
