With your support, Buffalo Arts Studio harnesses art’s unique power to bring us together.

Through our world-class exhibitions program, we brought people together to consider legacy, to see folk art as contemporary art, and to slow down, learn, and observe with new attention. We also connected artists, students, and academics around Creativity in the Time of Covid. We welcomed artists and supporters to our community space to celebrate residents of the Hunt Gallery, El Batey Puerto Rican Cultural Center, and the BOX Gallery.

Our education programs brought hundreds of artists together to create artwork that is important and personal to them and to share ideas, expand their skills, and build new relationships. Talented teaching artists inspired youth and adults in open-enrollment classes, empowered Jump Start students to explore their art interests while preparing them for college entry, and guided targeted underserved audiences through programs with partners Aspire of WNY, Family Promise, Journey’s End, Salvation Army Camp, People’s Park, and the local chapter of the Smithsonian Women’s Museum.

As a community, we built a space where Studio Artists work in a safe, warm, and inviting community, encouraging them to be themselves and to share ideas with each other and the thousands of annual visitors. We provided artists with support as they applied for opportunities to reach professional goals and as they faced personal times of need.

YOU are a vital part of this success. Thank you.

Please help us continue to use the power of the arts to provide opportunities to bring us closer, to strengthen our community, and to change our world for the better.
