Laura is a multidisciplinary artist from Western New York. Her main forms of artistic expression include oil painting and sculpture, though she also enjoys experimenting with unconventional materials. Drawing inspiration from the sublime, Laura focuses on composition, light, and color within her art to create a sense of wonder in viewers. Her recent works delve into themes of identity, the fragility of the natural world, and the transient nature of existence. Laura has exhibited her art in various local galleries across WNY and teaches oil painting at Buffalo Art Studio. Currently, she is a board member and vice president of the Buffalo Society of Artists while pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University at Buffalo. This summer, she will be painting a mural at the Erie County Health Mall on Broadway in Buffalo as part of the Art in Public Places initiative.
