Adrian Javon Blackmon is a photographer born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He photographs a mixture of people, everyday objects, and architecture. He works with both digital and film photography. Photographing people is a strong focus for Adrian because he love the stage that portraiture sets for a one-on-one session. His portrait sessions tells the stories, the emotions, the inner workings of all kinds of people. He believes in the aspect of making work by showing or highlighting the beauty in items and objects that we might pass up because we see them every day. While it may seem normal, he strives for blissful moments of appreciation.
As a young creator, Adrian thinks it’s important to acknowledge his role in this period in photography to help lead the charge for photographers to tell their stories.
