Buffalo Arts Studio is located on the 5th floor of the Tri-Main Center, a rehabilitated factory. In 2000, we expanded from 15,000 sq. ft. to 23,000 sq. ft. We currently have two galleries, shared and private office spaces, a community space with kitchen and bar, a printmaking room, a darkroom, a ceramics classroom, a kiln area, a computer lab, and semi-private and private studios for 40 artists. Among other features, we've added ventilation systems, smoke detectors, fireproof rooms, new electric systems and lights, halogen lighting systems for the galleries, steel doors, and panic push bars.
BAS provides space for public, corporate, and not-for-profit organizations to host events such as workshops, seminars, business meetings, conferences, receptions, dinners, weddings, and other events deemed appropriate to the studio.

Buffalo Arts Studio offers tours for groups that are interested in expanding their knowledge of the arts. Led by BAS’s curator, tour groups can explore current exhibitions and our resident artists’ studios. In touring Buffalo Arts Studio, groups will be exposed to many different media and styles of art.
